Restoration Architecture


The basic idea was to preserve the ruins and make the architecture flexible in using what was left.  This building was abandoned 200 years ago and there was a restoration effort in the Vilnius countryside.  The ruins limited the shape and facade of the building, but it is unique because of the glass cubes which extended the limited space inside.
